From a small initiative to a transformative coding movement
In 2018, a group of senior developers at Asenass noticed a critical gap in the tech education ecosystem. While computer science degrees were widely available, they often lacked practical, industry-relevant skills.
Frustrated by seeing talented individuals struggle to transition from theory to practice, we created Aplore as an intensive, project-based learning experience that mirrors real-world development environments.
What started as weekend workshops has now grown into a comprehensive coding education platform with multiple learning tracks, mentorship programs, and industry partnerships.

The Birth of Aplore
First coding workshop launched with 23 students in Lagos. Immediate success led to expansion plans.
